As the main equipment such as oil cooler, fresh water cooler, central cooler, diesel engine cooler, cylinder liner water cooler, etc., M&C heat exchange equipment is widely used in oil tankers, liquefied gas ships, container ships, bulk Cargo ships and engineering ships play an important role in the voyage of ships. The highly corrosive and easily scaled seawater operating conditions have tested the corrosion resistance and high performance of M&C heat exchange equipment, and the long-term continuous operation has tested the safety and stability of M&C heat exchange equipment.

Ship cooling water systems commonly have open seawater systems, closed freshwater cooling systems, and central cooling systems. The central cooling system has separate seawater and freshwater pipelines. The freshwater pipelines are less corroded and clean, with low management costs and strong system reliability. The high-temperature and low-temperature freshwater channels cool different ship equipment separately, making the system adaptable and improving equipment performance.

The central cooling system is divided into high temperature hot fresh water and low temperature warm fresh water closed system. The former is used to cool the host, the latter is used to cool hot fresh water and various coolers. The heated fresh water is cooled by an open seawater system in a central cooler. Therefore, only one cooler using seawater as the cooling liquid simplifies the arrangement of the seawater piping system.

The vast majority of lubricating oil coolers are water-cooled, divided into three types: tube type, plate type and spiral copper tube type according to different structural shapes.
